Sam Usi
Instructor
Reiki Practitioner
Sam has been teaching yoga since early 2022. The mat has been a place for her to connect mind, body, and soul, strengthening her relationship with herself and spirituality. Because of this ,she felt called to become a teacher, hoping to create and provide space to others who yearn to connect with who they are, who they've been, and who they want to be. In her classes, you can expect a balance of slow flow with dynamic sequencing and time for restoration and relaxation. This space is provided to build strength and ground down into all that we are capable of. However, don't be surprised when she hits you with some booty builders too!
Kasey Carrel
Instructor
I have always been involved in fitness, playing competitive soccer until I was 18. I began taking Hot Yoga in college. At first it was just another workout for me, but then I started feeling the mental benefits, the connection to myself, and the spiritual aspects of the practice. I was hooked! I've practiced on and off for 8 years, consistently for 4, and have now been teaching for 3 years. I wanted to share my love of yoga with others and began teaching in hopes to provide a welcoming space to explore your creativity and find your joy in your practice. My style is musically driven (ask me about my playlists) and rooted in Vinyasa. With a passion and curiosity for creative movement, you will never take the same class twice with me!
Carolina Santos
Mindfulness Leader
Instructor
I was born and raised in Brazil. I started to practice yoga in 2015, during the last year of my second University experience. I was on and off with my yoga practice for 5 years. In 2020 I decided to take my first Hatha-Vinyasa training, interested in deeping my practice, but never with the intention of becoming an instructor. I'm now also a certified Yin Yoga instructor and most recently I went on a 3-week YTT in the Big Island of Hawaii. I have been actively teaching Vinyasa, YinYasa and Yin yoga since January 2022. My classes are fun, creative, sweaty, and high vibrational. I like to bring in the spiritual side of this beautiful practice by also including mantras, mudras, chanting and meditation. Outside of the studio you can find me working hard as an Executive Personal Assistant, or spending as much time as possible outdoors with my dog Sadie and friends.
Hannah Axtelle
Instructor
Hannah Axtelle is a PNW born and raised yoga practitioner of over 7 years, but received her Yoga Alliance certified 200h RYT through Awakened Spirit Yoga in 2021. She initially found yoga in some difficult times in her life, and believes that living by the teachings of the 8 limbed yogic path brought her out of that place, into a new and fruitful life. Her focus is on making yoga accessible to everyone. Especially new students and those with limitations (mental or physical). Her mantra is “No one is good or bad at yoga, it is simply a practice to connect the body, mind and soul.” Hannah specializes in gentle/yin/slow flow due to how much she believes in incorporating meditation and breathwork, but she also enjoys a more fun and playful strengthening/alignment based class. Due to her dance background she also believes in dynamic movement as a method for self expression. Hannah’s passion is being able to share the expansive world of yoga with all who walk into the studio. She has taught everyone from a local high school baseball team to 75 year old students with significant injuries. You’ll be sure to feel your nervous system calmed and reset after any of Hannah’s classes.
Hannah Denton
Instuctor
Reiki Practitioner
I felt a calling to cultivate, expand, brighten, and explore my life's essence, and on that path, I was led to the practice of Yoga. I received my 500-RYT in 2022 and continue to follow down the path so that I may help others on their own! I am also a Reiki practitioner and a student at Bastyr University studying Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The asana and mental practice involved within the realm of Yoga have deepened my understanding of the self, and have better aided me in learning to enter my own body through breath, intentional movements, and stillness of the mind. Breath over everything else, a philosophy I lead all my classes with! I found that there is so much space to explore within, both while on and off the mat! All the amazing things I have learned through the practice makes it all the more joyous to share with others!
